Affirmations by Assata started with a simple belief: sometimes the words we need most are the ones we did not know we needed to hear. What started as sharing affirmations grew into something more as I watched people pull a message and connect it to exactly what they were experiencing, working through, or becoming.

Those moments showed me that an affirmation can be more than words on paper. It can shift a perspective, spark a conversation, or become a reminder someone carries with them long after the moment has passed.

Today, we create intentional affirmation products and experiences that help people find the words they need, right when they need them.

For me, affirmations have never been about saying pretty words just because they sound good. I’ve always been interested in what happens when the right words meet you at the right moment. I’ve watched someone pull an affirmation, read it aloud, pause, and realize that it speaks directly to something happening in their life.
​
That connection is what I love most.
I created Affirmations by Assata to give more people the opportunity to experience those moments. Every collection and experience I create is rooted in intention, connection, and the belief that sometimes a few words can stay with you much longer than you expected.

Sometimes you choose the affirmation. Sometimes the affirmation chooses you.
